MEET SAMANTHA
The Creator, Founder and Owner of Lumi Bar + Salon.
As our OG Libra, Lumi Leader, Samantha has all characteristics + traits to be a top stylist, business owner and boss lady. Her confident, creative and charming personality invites opportunities for all that walk through the doors of her salons whether stylist, students or clients.
At a young age, Samantha knew she was meant to share her artistic skills + to inspire others. After attending Pivot Point International Academy and receiving her cosmetology license in 2007, she moved to Denver, Colorado, to learn more about the beauty industry as an intern. During her time in Denver, she networked with many other stylists and had the opportunity to join fashion show sets, one of her favorites being the Betsy Johnson shows! After her experiences in Denver, she decided to come back to her roots in Chicago. While working at salons in the Chicagoland area, she decided it was time to return to Pivot Point for her Cosmetology Educators License to truly work towards her dreams to help inspire others grow and flourish in the beauty industry. Since 2011, Samantha has been dedicated to the art of hair extensions and wants to share her quality skills and passion with other stylists, students + clients from all around. Building her connections, Samantha decided to open the first extension bar + salon in the area.
Lumi Extension Bar + Salon was established in 2021, by creating a salon that focuses on quality and technique. Becoming a Bellami VIP Partner Salon, their squad and clientele is rapidly growing. Samantha is grateful for all the individuals who have supported her through this journey, her Lumi Squad that builds the foundation of what her company stands for and all the loyal clients who Lumi couldn’t succeed without. With much support, many new things are to come, including a new Lumi location opening up in Valparaiso, Indiana, becoming more accessible for clients who are visiting from all communities. Our junior stylists/apprentices are ambitious and dedicated to learning from our licensed salon professionals.
Through their training journey here at Lumi, they’re eager to build their skillset for all things beauty and work towards their goals of becoming a senior stylist.

Meet our Schererville Salon Coordinator, Katerina!
Put a face to the voice you hear on the phone! Katerina manages our daily salon operations by managing our front desk, setting up free consultations, booking appointments and supervising stylist’s schedules. As a Caring Capricorn, Katerina is dedicated to communicating with clients about their needs and setting up appointments that are suitable for all client’s schedules.
